ALLE PENDICI DEL SASSOLUNGO

Oggi abbiamo fatto un bel percorso a piedi arrivando da Selva fino alle pendici del Sassolungo, con tappa pranzo al rifugio Comici. Tappa meritatissima. Tutto davvero molto buono (in particolare tortelloni ricotta e spinaci e canederli con salsina al porro!), con gran finale di dolci da ricordare (buonissimi lo strudel alle prugne e la mousse allo yogurt con frutti di bosco). Meno male che camminando qualche caloria almeno l'abbiamo ammortizzata...
E poi via a fare il tifo per i boulderisti impegnati nel Salewa Rockshow nella Valle dei Sassi. Che meraviglia l'affiatamento dei giovanissimi sportivi e il forte spirito di solidarietà di gruppo. A vincere è stata Matilde, la più piccola dei partecipanti (soli tredici anni!), praticamente una mascotte, ma con grinta viva.
E lì, attorno a noi, le vette dell'anfiteatro dolomitico a fare da spettatrici.

In the past days I was walking with some colleagues along the Francigena itinerary to reach Monteriggioni, an amazing ancient village in the heart of Tuscany. In this days there is a "Slow travel" Festival going on and the atmosphere is just so friendly and positive you cannot imagine. It's like to be at home. I didn't had such a warm feeling since I did my trip walking along the Way of Sant'James, in 2010!
Traveling trough Tuscany for this new trip, the landscape was breathless, the company easy going, the experience to be repeated. You can see more pics on the newspaper website I write for: Il Piccolo.
